Clear expectations.

Structure is what makes recovery stick. Every resident agrees to these standards at intake.

Sobriety

  • Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol on or off property
  • Random and for-cause drug and alcohol testing
  • No paraphernalia, weapons, or non-prescribed medication
  • All prescriptions reported and stored securely
  • No overnight guests

Daily structure

  • Minimum meeting attendance each week
  • Work, school, or an approved outpatient program within 45 days
  • Assigned daily and weekly chores
  • Curfew enforced nightly; overnight passes require approval
  • No flammables
  • No candles
  • No smoking indoors or near entry ways
  • No personal space heaters
  • No extension cords ran under rugs or under doors
  • Meals eaten in kitchen or dining room only
  • Only water in a closed container permitted in bedroom
  • Bedrooms are to remain open during the day unless everyone in the room leaves

Respect

  • No violence, threats, harassment, or theft
  • Zero tolerance for theft
  • Quiet hours honored throughout the house
  • Guests only in common areas during approved hours
  • Confidentiality of every resident is protected
  • Cameras in all common spaces
  • Clean up immediately after self
